The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has extended its official congratulations to Afghanistan on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the congratulatory message was published on the official "X" (formerly Twitter) account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We extend our sincere congratulations to Afghanistan on the occasion of its National Day," the post stated.
Azerbaijan and Afghanistan maintain long-standing diplomatic relations, with Baku consistently supporting the sovereignty and stability of the Central Asian nation. The two countries have historically collaborated within various international frameworks, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, fostering cooperation in areas such as economic development and regional security.
