According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, both President Ilham Aliyev and the Czech Prime Minister delivered speeches at the event. The leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening trade ties and highlighted the potential for joint projects in various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and technology, aimed at deepening the strategic partnership between Baku and Prague.

Economic relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic have seen steady growth in recent years, with both countries seeking to diversify their trade portfolios. Azerbaijan serves as a key energy partner for the European Union, while the Czech Republic offers advanced industrial and technological expertise.
