The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended its congratulations to Senegal on the occasion of its Independence Day.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the MFA shared a congratulatory message on its official account on the X social media platform.
"We convey our sincere congratulations to the government and people of Senegal on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Senegal. Happy Independence Day, Senegal!" the post stated.
Independence Day in Senegal is celebrated annually on April 4, marking the country's transition to sovereignty from French colonial rule in 1960. Azerbaijan and Senegal maintain diplomatic relations characterized by cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as both nations continue to strengthen bilateral ties in various sectors.
