The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced the completion of all social benefit, pension, and targeted state social assistance payments for the month of August.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry confirmed that all funds allocated for citizens have been successfully transferred, finalizing the social payment schedule for the current month.
Prior to this, the ministry had already processed pension payments for retirees and individuals eligible for preferential pensions. On August 14, payments were distributed to residents of Baku, Sumgait, the Absheron district, and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. This was followed by payments to pensioners in other regions of Azerbaijan on August 21.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is responsible for the implementation of state policy in the areas of labor, employment, and social protection. The timely disbursement of these funds is a key component of the government's ongoing social welfare strategy, aimed at supporting vulnerable segments of the population and ensuring financial stability for retirees and benefit recipients across the country.
