The State Social Protection Fund, operating under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, has successfully completed the disbursement of pensions for August across the country.

According to the official statement, pension payments for August, including those assigned under preferential conditions, were processed in stages. On August 14, funds were distributed to pensioners in Baku, Sumgait, the Absheron district, and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Following this, payments were finalized today for individuals registered in other regions of Azerbaijan.
The State Social Protection Fund is responsible for the administration of the mandatory state social insurance system in Azerbaijan. The fund ensures the timely collection of social insurance contributions and the subsequent distribution of pensions and social benefits to eligible citizens, playing a critical role in the country's social welfare infrastructure.
