Under the 2026 training plan, another training assembly has begun at a military unit of the Special Forces, with a group of military personnel liable for service taking part. The assembly is being held as part of joint measures with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
The Ministry of Defense told the “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
According to the plan, after being admitted to the military unit, the participants completed the required registration and medical examinations and were issued military uniforms and other necessary supplies.
A formal ceremony was then held to mark the start of the assembly. Participants were briefed on its objectives. Officials noted that such activities are important for strengthening reservists’ military readiness and theoretical knowledge, as well as improving their practical skills.
The ceremony concluded with the participants marching past the reviewing stand.
Later, in line with the training program, personnel taking part in the assembly received detailed information about modern weapons and equipment in the arsenal of the Azerbaijan Army.
During the assembly, participants will be taught modern combat and self-defense techniques. They will also take part in theoretical and practical sessions in tactics and other areas of training, adapted to real combat conditions.
Military training assemblies are used to maintain and improve the readiness of personnel in the reserve. Their programs can combine classroom instruction with practical exercises.
