The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has approved the "Rules for educating and informing the population on preventive and safety measures to be implemented in connection with the threat of possible use of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction."

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the relevant decree to enhance national preparedness and public awareness. The new regulations outline the specific procedures for how state agencies will communicate with the public and what safety protocols must be followed in the event of a high-level emergency involving unconventional weapons.

This initiative is part of Azerbaijan's broader strategy to modernize its civil defense infrastructure and ensure the safety of its citizens in an increasingly complex global security environment. The Cabinet of Ministers regularly updates safety protocols to align with international standards, ensuring that the Republic of Azerbaijan remains prepared for various humanitarian and security challenges. The Operative Information Center-OMM will play a key role in disseminating these educational materials to the public across all regions of the country.
