An agreement on cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical science between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has been officially approved.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to ratify this document.
Under the terms of the decree, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan is tasked with ensuring the implementation of the agreement's provisions once it enters into force. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is required to notify the Government of Ukraine that the necessary domestic procedures for the agreement's entry into force have been completed.
It should be noted that the agreement was signed in Baku on November 1, 2025. This development marks a significant step in deepening bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in the exchange of medical expertise, scientific research, and healthcare management practices, which have become increasingly vital in the context of modern public health challenges.
