Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The “Operative Information Center-OMM” reported that the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry shared the information on its “X” social media account.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects for developing Azerbaijan–Saint Vincent and the Grenadines relations. They emphasized the importance of intensifying political dialogue, increasing bilateral contacts and visits, and strengthening the institutional foundations of bilateral ties.
The officials also reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening multilateral cooperation and mutual support within the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.
Following the productive discussions, the sides signed the “Protocol on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.”
The protocol is expected to significantly strengthen institutional ties, promote regular diplomatic contacts and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
