Azerbaijan and Jordan will abolish visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a draft law on the matter has been included on the agenda of a meeting of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties scheduled for Sept. 14.

The agreement provides for the mutual exemption of Azerbaijani and Jordanian citizens holding ordinary passports from visa requirements.

The move is expected to facilitate travel between Azerbaijan and Jordan and further support people-to-people contacts, tourism and bilateral ties. The agreement will take effect in accordance with the procedures established by the two countries.
