Participants in the international scientific and practical conference titled "Stages of audit development: The path from compliance to strategic partnership and trust," held in Baku, adopted an appeal addressed to President Ilham Aliyev.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the text of the appeal was read out by Afiqa Bayramova, an employee of Azerbaijan’s Chamber of Auditors.
The conference brought together audit professionals and specialists to discuss the profession’s evolving role, including its contribution to transparency, accountability and effective governance. Such international scientific and practical forums provide an opportunity to exchange experience and consider ways to strengthen confidence in audit institutions.
