An agreement on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the United States under the TRIPP project has been deemed consistent with Armenia’s Constitution.

“Factor” reported this, citing the press service of Armenia’s Constitutional Court.

According to the report, the court has completed its review of the agreement and concluded that Armenia’s obligations under TRIPP do not contradict the Constitution.

The court’s full ruling is expected to be published within three days.

The framework agreement on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the United States under the TRIPP — “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” — project was signed in 2026. The Armenian government launched the ratification process in July and submitted the document to the Constitutional Court.

Constitutional court reviews of international agreements are part of the domestic ratification process, determining whether the obligations undertaken by the state comply with constitutional provisions before parliamentary consideration.
