Apple Inc. has announced the temporary suspension of operations at all its retail stores across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) amid escalating regional tensions.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing information released by WCCFTech, that the decision impacts five major retail locations in the country. Specifically, three of the affected stores are situated in Abu Dhabi, while the remaining two are located in Dubai.

The suspension of operations was implemented in accordance with recommendations from the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. The Ministry has advised private sector companies to adopt additional security measures, transition employees to remote work where possible, and minimize presence in public spaces to ensure safety.

According to official information, these restrictions will remain in effect until March 3. However, no further statement has been issued regarding whether the closures will be extended beyond that date. Apple's presence in the UAE is a significant part of its regional strategy, as the country serves as a primary hub for the tech giant's operations in the Middle East.

The United Arab Emirates is home to some of Apple's most iconic retail locations, including the Dubai Mall store, which attracts millions of visitors annually. Such temporary closures by multinational corporations are typically coordinated with local authorities to prioritize the safety of both staff and customers during periods of heightened regional instability.
