Bilateral cooperation will reach a new level following the Laos president’s visit to Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks during a joint statement to the media with Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith in Baku.
“Today, we discussed many important issues in both our one-on-one and expanded-format meetings and identified concrete steps. It was agreed today that the declaration essentially sets out our future cooperation and defines its main areas,” the Azerbaijani president said.
The visit reflects efforts by Azerbaijan and Laos to strengthen bilateral ties. The declaration outlined by Aliyev is intended to provide a framework for future cooperation between the two countries.
