Əli Əsədov TDT-nin inkişafından danışdı

Prime Minister Ali Asadov, speaking at a meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), stated that the current level of the organization's development is a direct result of the purposeful policy and determined will of the heads of state.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Prime Minister underscored the growing importance of the organization amidst shifting global dynamics.

According to Ali Asadov, the modern system of international relations is currently facing complex challenges: "The deepening of conflicts in various regions of the world, increasing security risks, disruptions in logistics chains, and challenges related to energy and food security further increase the relevance of interstate cooperation. Especially in the context of recent tensions and rising escalation observed in the region, mutual solidarity and coordination are of great importance. In such complex conditions, the Organization of Turkic States is an important international platform contributing to the promotion of peace, stability, development, and mutually beneficial cooperation across a wide geography."

The Prime Minister added that the consistent efforts of the leaders are the primary factors ensuring the deepening of cooperation within the organization and the strengthening of solidarity in the Turkic world year after year.

The Organization of Turkic States, formerly known as the Turkic Council, has evolved significantly since its inception in 2009. It serves as a comprehensive intergovernmental organization aimed at promoting cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations in fields ranging from economy and energy to culture and security. In recent years, Azerbaijan has played a pivotal role in enhancing the strategic weight of the OTS, particularly in developing the Middle Corridor logistics route, which connects Asia and Europe through the South Caucasus.
