The Asian Development Bank (ADB) projects that Azerbaijan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will grow by 2% in 2026 and 1.8% in 2027.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, these figures were released in the latest edition of the ADB's "Asian Development Outlook" report. The bank has maintained its previous economic forecasts for Azerbaijan, as well as for Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, keeping them unchanged for both years.
The Asian Development Bank, headquartered in Manila, plays a significant role in regional development by providing loans, technical assistance, and grants to support economic growth and poverty reduction across Asia and the Pacific. Azerbaijan has been a member of the ADB since 1999, and the institution remains a key partner in the country's infrastructure and economic diversification efforts.
