Thirty-nine children from the residential social service institutions of the Social Services Agency are starting first grade today.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population told the Operative Information Center-OMM.
The ministry said 476 children without parental care currently live in the Social Services Agency’s residential social service institutions.
Residential care institutions provide children without parental care with accommodation, daily support and access to education. Starting school is an important step in their social development and integration.
