Rufat Tofiq oglu Atakishiyev

Biography
Rufat Tofiq oglu Atakishiyev was born in 1985. He holds a PhD in political sciences.
From 2006 to 2011, he worked as an assistant to the chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs; from 2012 to 2018, as head of the Foreign Investments Sector of the Department of Interstate Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Economy; and from 2018 to 2020, as head of the International Cooperation Department of the SMBDA. He participated in training courses, seminars and courses held in foreign countries, as well as in organizing international events held in Azerbaijan.
Since February 6, 2020, he has been Deputy Chairman of the Board of the SMBDA.
In 2019, he was awarded the “Progress” Medal by order of the President. He speaks English and Russian. He is married and has two children.
