Mirsaleh Miradil oglu Seyidov

He was born in 1977 in the city of Sumgayit.

In 1999, he began his career as an inspector at the Main Department for the Execution of Court Decisions of the Ministry of Justice. In August 2001, he became head of the Regime, Security and Supervision Department of Investigation Detention Facility No. 3 of that Main Department; from November 2006, he served as deputy head for educational affairs and, from February 2008, as deputy head for operational-regime affairs of Investigation Detention Facility No. 3 of the Penitentiary Service.

From February 2009, he served as head of Penitentiary Service Facility No. 15 and, from August 2011 to February 2016, as head of Penitentiary Service Facility No. 10; from February 2016 to July 2023, he served as head of the Operations and Regime Department of the Penitentiary Service. By Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 10, 2023, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice — Head of the Penitentiary Service; on November 21, 2023, he was awarded the highest special rank of Major General of Justice.

In 1998, he graduated from the bachelor's degree programme of the Faculty of Law of Baku State University, and in 2002, from its master's degree programme, both with distinction diplomas.
