Volodimir Zelenski: Növbəti görüş yenə İsveçrədə keçiriləcək

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has highly praised the third round of trilateral negotiations between the United States, Ukraine, and Russia, held in Geneva on February 17-18.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media outlets, that the President expressed satisfaction with the progress of the discussions.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the next meeting is also expected to take place in Switzerland, clarifying why a European venue is preferred over other proposed locations such as Abu Dhabi.

"I think it is good that we are holding a trilateral meeting in Switzerland. We respect and value our partners in the Middle East and elsewhere. However, in my opinion, if the war is taking place in Europe, then we must find a venue in Europe. I want to emphasize that the next meeting will be held in Switzerland. This is the information I have today. Of course, our group will return, and I will have more detailed information," the Ukrainian leader added.

Switzerland, particularly Geneva, has a long-standing history as a neutral ground for high-stakes international diplomacy and conflict resolution. As a global hub for international organizations, the city provides the necessary infrastructure and security for complex multilateral negotiations. These ongoing talks are viewed as a critical diplomatic effort to address the security situation in Eastern Europe and seek a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
