The official website for the upcoming 13th session of the World Urban Forum, WUF13.az, has been launched to the public.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Elnur Mirzazade, Head of the Digital Marketing Department of the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, announced the platform's activation during a media briefing focused on preparations for the event scheduled for May 17-22. Mirzazade emphasized that the primary objective of the website is to ensure accessible and prompt information delivery regarding the forum.
"The visual design of the platform prioritizes a synthesis of national style with modern design elements. The event's slogan is prominently featured on the page, and a dedicated news section has been provided for media representatives to obtain the latest updates," he noted during the briefing.
The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization, established by the United Nations to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the world today: rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, and climate change. By hosting WUF13 in Baku, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its reputation as a global hub for high-level international summits and sustainable development initiatives. The event is expected to bring together government officials, urban planners, and civil society leaders from around the world to the capital of Azerbaijan.
