The Uzbekistan Professional Football League has officially congratulated the Azerbaijani football club "Sabah" on its historic qualification for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the congratulatory message was shared on the Uzbekistan Professional Football League's official "X" (formerly Twitter) account.
"The Uzbekistan Professional Football League sincerely congratulates "Sabah" football club on qualifying for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League! We wish the brotherly Azerbaijani club success, spectacular victories, and new achievements in Europe's most prestigious club tournament!" the statement read.
This achievement follows a decisive match held in Baku, where the Azerbaijani side "Sabah" faced Israel's "Hapoel" (Be'er Sheva). By defeating the Israeli representative, "Sabah" secured its place in the prestigious tournament's league phase.
