Unstable and rainy weather conditions continue to persist in several regions of Azerbaijan, with some areas experiencing intense, torrential rainfall.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this update was provided by the National Hydrometeorological Service based on data recorded as of 10:00 AM on August 31.
Precipitation levels varied across the country: 8 mm was recorded in Gusar; 5 mm in Balakan and Gobustan; 4 mm in Shahbuz; 3 mm in Beylagan, Imishli, Kurdamir, Oguz, Gabala, Lankaran, Lerik, and Shamakhi; and 2 mm in Ismayilli, Altiagac, Zardab, Shusha, Baku, and the Absheron Peninsula. Rainfall of up to 1 mm was observed in Nakhchivan, Julfa, Ordubad, Gadabay, Ganja, Naftalan, Shamkir, Aghstafa, Tovuz, Gakh, Zagatala, Shaki, Guba, Khachmaz, Khinalig, Shabran, Shahdag, Tartar, Barda, Mingachevir, Yevlax, Goychay, Sabirabad, Neftchala, Bilasuvar, Yardimli, Astara, Zangilan, Kalbajar, Fuzuli, and Aghdam.
