The “Central Botanical Garden” and “Dendrology Garden” public legal entities operating under the Baku City Executive Authority will be reorganized by being converted into the “Central Botanical and Dendrology Garden” Limited Liability Company operating under the Baku City Executive Authority.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision on the matter.
Under the decision, the company’s staffing limit has been set at 230 positions.
The powers of the company’s general meeting will be exercised by the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Economy and the Baku City Executive Authority.
The reorganization is intended to bring the management of the two specialized gardens under a single legal entity. Botanical and dendrological gardens support plant conservation, scientific research and public environmental education.
