Traffic congestion has been reported on several roads in Baku.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the information was provided by the Intelligent Transport Management Center.
The current road situation is as follows:
1. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, the service road, toward the city center;
2. Babek Avenue, toward the city center;
3. First Lakeside Road, toward Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
4. Baku-Sumgait highway, toward the “20 January” metro station;
5. 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street toward the city center;
6. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
7. 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
8. Ali Mustafayev Street, toward Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
9. Tbilisi Avenue, from the “20 January” metro station toward the city center.
Drivers are advised to take the reported congestion into account when planning their routes through Baku. The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic conditions on the capital’s main roads and provides updates on areas where traffic flow is restricted.
