Traffic congestion has been observed on several major roads in Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current road conditions in the capital.
As of the latest report, traffic density is being recorded at the following locations:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station towards the city center.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center, which operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, continuously monitors traffic flow across the capital to optimize road safety and efficiency. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and utilize real-time traffic monitoring tools to avoid heavily congested areas during their commute.
