Bakının bir sıra yollarında tıxac yaranıb

Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads in Baku, causing delays for commuters across the capital.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an update regarding the current traffic situation.

According to the latest data from the ITMC, significant traffic density is currently being observed at the following locations:

  • Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
  • Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station towards the city center;
  • Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
  • 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
  • Sabunchu-Zabrat highway, in the direction of the "Koroglu" metro station;
  • Binagadi highway, in the direction of the "Azadlig Avenue" metro station.

The Intelligent Transport Management Center, which operates under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, continuously monitors the capital's road network to optimize traffic flow. Such congestion is often attributed to peak-hour commuting, ongoing road maintenance works, or increased vehicle volume during specific times of the day. Drivers are advised to utilize navigation applications to identify alternative routes and avoid the affected areas to minimize travel time.
