Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
As of the latest report, traffic density is observed in the following areas:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow throughout Baku to optimize road safety and efficiency. As the capital of Azerbaijan continues to expand, managing traffic density on major arteries remains a priority for municipal authorities to ensure the smooth movement of public and private transport.
