Traffic congestion has been reported on several roads in Baku.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the information was released by the Intelligent Transport Management Center.
The current situation on the roads is as follows:
1. Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the “20 January” metro station;
2. Binagadi highway, in the direction of the “Azadlig Avenue” metro station;
3. Ali Mustafayev Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
4. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
5. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street in the direction of the “20 January” metro station;
6. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the area in front of the Baku Olympic Stadium in the direction of the “20 January” metro station;
7. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Abdulvahab Salamzade Street in the direction of Ahmad Rajabli Street;
8. Tbilisi Avenue, from the “20 January” metro station toward the city center;
9. Bakikhanov Street, from the intersection with Inshatchilar Avenue in the direction of Dada Gorgud Park;
10. Bakikhanov Street, from the intersection with Jalil Mammadguluzadeh Street in the direction of the “Statistika” Circle;
11. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, in the direction of the city center;
12. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, service road, in the direction of the city center;
13. First Lakeside Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
14. Mikayil Mushfig Street, from the Badamdar Circle toward School-Lyceum No. 20, where congestion has been observed.
The listed routes include several of Baku’s main transport corridors connecting residential areas with the city center. Traffic conditions on such roads can change rapidly depending on the time of day and traffic volume.
