US company Tesla has unveiled its new Roadster electric car.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing foreign media.
The presentation was held at SpaceX’s test site in Texas, and Tesla released a video of the demonstration.
During the demonstration, the car spun over an obstacle, climbed a curved ramp and jumped off it before landing. It then continued moving along the ramp’s surface using a special fan system. Even when its wheels lifted off the surface, pressure generated by the system kept the car on the ramp.
“I’ve seen a lot, but I’ve never seen anything like this,” Tesla chief Elon Musk said.
The company plans to begin mass production of the model in 2028.
It remains unclear whether the functions demonstrated will be usable on public roads.
