Weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to be variably cloudy and predominantly rainless on September 5, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

The service noted that short-term rain is possible in some areas during the day. A south-easterly wind will shift to a north-westerly wind, which may occasionally strengthen in the evening. Air temperatures are expected to range between 18-21°C at night and 28-32°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 760 mm Hg, with relative humidity at 70-75% at night and 55-60% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to remain largely rainless. However, in the second half of the day, intermittent rain is forecast for some mountainous areas. In certain locations, there is a possibility of short-term downpours, lightning, and hail. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by an easterly wind.

Air temperatures in the regions will range from 16-21°C at night to 30-35°C during the day. In mountainous regions, temperatures are expected to be 11-16°C at night and 20-25°C during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors climatic changes across Azerbaijan to provide timely warnings to the public. These forecasts are essential for agricultural planning and public safety, particularly during the summer season when high temperatures and localized weather phenomena, such as hail or sudden downpours, can impact infrastructure and daily activities.
