A yellow warning has been issued for windy weather expected in several regions of Azerbaijan on Sept. 29.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service issued the warning.
According to the warning, easterly winds will affect Goranboy, Naftalan, Dashkasan, Guba, Gusar, Khizi, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Hajigabul, Neftchala and Salyan. Wind speeds are expected to reach 13.9-20.7 meters per second.
A yellow weather warning indicates potentially hazardous conditions that may disrupt outdoor activities and transport. Residents are advised to exercise caution, particularly in exposed areas and near structures that could be affected by strong winds.
