Slovak President Peter Pellegrini and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov have discussed the development prospects of trade, investment, and infrastructure cooperation between the two nations.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Pellegrini shared details regarding the meeting on his social media account following his discussions with the Azerbaijani Prime Minister.
"Following productive strategic talks with President Ilham Aliyev, I was pleased to continue the dialogue with Prime Minister Ali Asadov. Our meeting focused on translating our shared vision into concrete results. We discussed prospects for deepening trade and investment cooperation, strengthening transport infrastructure, and expanding the participation of Slovak companies in Azerbaijan's large-scale modernization programs," Pellegrini stated. He further emphasized that energy security remained a key pillar of the discussions, reflecting the mutual interest of both countries in building sustainable and reliable partnerships.
Azerbaijan and Slovakia have been actively strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the energy and industrial sectors. This diplomatic engagement builds upon the strategic framework established during high-level visits, aiming to transform political dialogue into tangible economic benefits, fostering new opportunities for businesses and citizens in both Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
