A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Union of Filmmakers of Azerbaijan (UFA) was held today.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the meeting focused on the Union's current operations, organizational matters, membership issues, and preparations for the upcoming Conference. Several key decisions were finalized during the session.
The Board unanimously decided to temporarily entrust the powers of the Union of Filmmakers of Azerbaijan chairperson to Shafiga Mammadova.
Furthermore, the Board confirmed that the Union of Filmmakers of Azerbaijan Conference is scheduled to take place on September 11. In addition to scheduling the conference, the Board reviewed and approved the resignation letters submitted by Board member and Executive Secretary Ali Isa Jabbarov.
The Board also unanimously approved Shafiga Mammadova as the sole candidate for the position of chairperson of the Union of Filmmakers of Azerbaijan.
