The Saudi-led coalition said on Wednesday it had destroyed a ballistic missile launch platform in Yemen’s Sanaa that had been used in an attack on Riyadh.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said on “X” that the platform was destroyed “during preparations for an imminent attack against the kingdom.”
Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said three people were killed and 36 injured in attacks targeting two airports in the country.
Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh were targeted in separate attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday, the authority said.
Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed on Wednesday that it had carried out the attacks on both airports.
