The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said late Friday that it had destroyed two Houthi ballistic missile launch platforms.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said on “X” that the platforms were in northwestern Saada province, according to Anadolu Agency.
No further details about the operation were provided.
Yemen has been embroiled in conflict since the Houthis seized the capital, Sanaa, and several provinces in September 2014. The takeover prompted the Saudi-led coalition to intervene in March 2015 in support of the internationally recognized government.
