A Saudi-led coalition said on Tuesday it intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi group toward eastern Saudi Arabia.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said in separate posts on “X” that one missile was heading toward Haradh and the other toward Dhahran.
The coalition said debris from the interception fell in a residential area in Dhahran and that authorities were responding at the site. It did not provide details about casualties or damage.
Earlier on Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense warned of a “potential danger” in the Eastern Province. Minutes later, it announced that the danger had passed.
