Saudi airstrikes on Yemen’s Mokha kill six, Houthi-affiliated agency says

At least six people were killed and eight others injured in Saudi-led airstrikes on the strategic Yemeni port city of Mokha, the Houthi-affiliated Saba news agency reported on Tuesday.

Saba said the dead included two children and a woman. The injured reportedly included a child and a woman.

Yemen’s ongoing civil war

The Houthis are fighting Yemen’s internationally recognized government in a civil war, while Saudi Arabia supports the government.

In recent days, the Houthis have claimed responsibility for drone and ballistic missile attacks targeting the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as well as energy facilities along the country’s Red Sea coast.
