Azerbaijan national team player Rufat Abbasov has shared his thoughts on the upcoming return match against Lithuania in the UEFA Nations League. He said the match would not be easy, but stressed that the team’s main objective was to win.
“We have a very difficult game against Lithuania tomorrow. We have only one thought: we have to win. I believe in the team, and we have prepared very well. God willing, we have to win tomorrow,” Abbasov said.
The match between the Azerbaijan and Lithuania national teams will be held on October 4 at the 8th Kilometer settlement stadium, kicking off at 17:00.
Abbasov also expressed confidence in the team’s preparations and underlined the challenge ahead. Azerbaijan will face Lithuania in the return fixture, with the player saying the team is focused solely on securing victory.
