Intermittent rain is expected in some areas of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on Sept. 29.
The National Hydrometeorological Service told the “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
Short-lived heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible in parts of the peninsula. Northeasterly winds will prevail.
Temperatures will range from 17 to 20 degrees Celsius overnight and from 22 to 25 degrees during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 758 mm to 761 mm of mercury. Relative humidity will be 70% to 80%.
Intermittent rain is also expected in some parts of Azerbaijan. In certain areas, the rain may be intense and heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. Snow is possible in high mountain areas. Fog is expected in some places overnight and in the morning. Easterly winds will occasionally strengthen in some areas.
Temperatures will range from 15 to 19 degrees Celsius overnight and from 22 to 27 degrees during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be 3 to 6 degrees overnight and 6 to 10 degrees during the day.
These weather patterns are typical of the transition from summer to autumn, when rainfall, thunderstorms and rapid temperature changes become more frequent across Azerbaijan. Residents in areas exposed to heavy rain and strong winds are advised to exercise caution.
