Sabah Bakıda yağış yağacaq, rayonlara qar düşəcək

Rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula tomorrow, with weather conditions forecast to be changeably cloudy and occasionally overcast, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that while the day will remain mostly dry, there is a possibility of light rain in certain areas during the night. Fog is expected in some locations during the morning hours, and the current south-east wind will be replaced by a north-west wind by evening. In Baku, temperatures are forecast to reach 9-12°C at night and 13-18°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure below the norm at 750 mm Hg and relative humidity between 70-80%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected, with snow forecast for mountainous areas. Officials warned of brief intensive rainfall, lightning, and hail in specific districts. Western winds are expected to strengthen occasionally, and fog may reduce visibility in several regions during the morning and night. Regional temperatures will range from 8-11°C at night to 15-20°C during the day, while in the mountains, temperatures will drop to 3-7°C of frost at night and range from 2°C of frost to 3°C of heat during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide early warnings for seasonal weather shifts. Such fluctuations in temperature and precipitation are characteristic of the transitional climate patterns in the South Caucasus, where maritime influences from the Caspian Sea meet continental air masses, often resulting in rapid changes in the mountainous terrain of the Lesser and Greater Caucasus ranges.
