Rainy weather conditions are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula from the night of March 10 into the morning of March 11, with drizzling rain likely in various areas.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, the weather in the capital is expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy, though mostly rainless during the day. A south-east wind will prevail throughout the period.

The air temperature in Baku and the peninsula will range from 3-6°C at night and 7-11°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 779 mm to 776 mm Hg, while relative humidity is expected to be 75-80% at night and 60-65% during the day.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is forecast for some areas, with snow expected in mountainous districts. While the precipitation is predicted to gradually cease during the day, occasional fog may be observed in various locations. An east wind will blow across the regions.

The temperature in the regions will be 2-5°C at night and 7-12°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures will drop to 5-10°C below zero at night (reaching 10-15°C below zero in high-altitude areas), with daytime temperatures ranging from 0-5°C below zero.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide timely updates for the public and relevant state agencies. Such seasonal fluctuations in March are characteristic of the transition to spring in the South Caucasus, where maritime influences from the Caspian Sea often interact with cold air masses from the mountains.
