Prime Minister Ali Asadov of Azerbaijan has held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, Mohammad Mustafa, who is currently on an official visit to the country.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Cabinet of Ministers reported that the discussions focused on the successful development of friendly and mutually respectful relations between Azerbaijan and Palestine.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of effective cooperation and mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations. Prime Minister Ali Asadov reiterated Azerbaijan's consistent support for a resolution to the Palestinian issue based on the norms and principles of international law, including the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.
The Palestinian side expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's ongoing political support, humanitarian aid, and various initiatives in the fields of education and other sectors. The two leaders also explored prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation across various domains.
Azerbaijan has historically maintained a principled stance on the Palestinian issue, consistently advocating for a two-state solution and providing humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people, reflecting the country's commitment to global stability and humanitarian diplomacy.
