President Ilham Aliyev received Chaba Leiko, President of John Deere for CIS and Central Asia and CEO of John Deere Walldorf International, along with Peter Saxen, Vice President for the CIS, on July 16.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the meeting began with a positive recollection of the previous discussion held between the head of state and Chaba Leiko in Baku last year.
The representatives of the company expressed their admiration for the ongoing development processes observed in Azerbaijan. Chaba Leiko highlighted the successful operations of John Deere in the country and emphasized the company's interest in further expanding this partnership.
During the meeting, the participants underscored the vast potential of Azerbaijan's agricultural sector. They discussed the integration of modern technologies, the government's ongoing initiatives to modernize agriculture, and the significance of the newly adopted State Program in this field. Both parties explored future cooperation opportunities, noting the strong potential for strengthening ties across various agricultural sectors.
