President Ilham Aliyev concludes state visit to Kyrgyzstan

The state visit of President Ilham Aliyev to the Kyrgyz Republic concluded on July 31.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the head of state at the Issyk-Kul International Airport in the city of Cholpon-Ata.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were seen off by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov, and other high-ranking officials.

State visits of this nature serve to strengthen the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, which has seen significant growth in recent years. Both nations maintain close cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, focusing on deepening economic, cultural, and political ties. Such high-level diplomatic engagements are pivotal for fostering regional stability and enhancing bilateral trade relations between Baku and Bishkek.
