Pensions in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron due by October 14

Pensions for residents of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron District are scheduled to be paid no later than October 14.

The State Social Protection Fund announced this, Operative Information Center-OMM reported.

Pensions for September, including those granted on preferential terms, were paid on September 8 in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, on September 11 in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron District, and today to recipients registered in other regions of Azerbaijan.

From January through July 2026, pensions for old age, disability and loss of a breadwinner were assigned proactively to 24,600 people.

The State Social Protection Fund administers Azerbaijan’s pension system and social insurance payments. Pension payments are generally made in stages across the country, with dates announced by the relevant authorities.
