Paşinyan 2028-ci ildə Bakıya səfər edəcəyinə ümid edir

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed his hope to visit Azerbaijan in 2028 to participate in the European Political Community (EPC) summit. The Prime Minister noted that such a visit would be a significant step within the framework of the ongoing peace process in the region.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Pashinyan made this statement during his speech at the EPC summit held in Yerevan. He highlighted that official Yerevan remains committed to the peace agenda and views the potential gathering in Baku as an opportunity to further stabilize relations between the two neighboring nations.

The European Political Community is an intergovernmental forum established in 2022 to foster political dialogue and cooperation across the European continent. Azerbaijan has a proven track record of hosting high-level international summits in Baku, including the recent COP29 climate conference. The prospect of an Armenian leader visiting the Azerbaijani capital is seen by international observers as a potential turning point in the normalization of ties and the establishment of lasting peace in the South Caucasus, particularly following the full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty over the Garabagh region.
