A Palestinian man was killed and several others were injured in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, as Israel continued to violate a ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, Anadolu Agency reported.
A medical source told Anadolu Agency that a drone strike hit a gathering of civilians in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, north of Gaza City. The source said the strike killed a man and injured others but did not give a number or details about their condition.
Earlier on Thursday, a Palestinian was moderately injured when Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward tents sheltering displaced people at Halawa camp, east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, a medical source told the agency.
The Israeli army also carried out demolitions targeting blocks of evacuated residential buildings in areas where its forces are deployed, including Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, areas east of Gaza City and Rafah in the south. Palestinians told Anadolu Agency they heard loud explosions overnight and on Thursday morning as the army detonated vehicles loaded with explosives in evacuated residential blocks.
Israeli military vehicles also fired toward areas east of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, and east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said that, as of Monday, Israeli ceasefire violations had killed 1,501 Palestinians and injured 5,323 others. Since October 2023, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 175,000 injured in Gaza, while around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
