North Macedonia President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova called Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Oct. 21.
During the phone call, the heads of state exchanged views on the global energy situation, current challenges and ways to address them, according to the Presidential Press Service, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
They recalled with satisfaction the North Macedonian president’s official visit to Azerbaijan and noted that it had contributed to strengthening friendly relations and mutual understanding between the two countries.
The leaders agreed to continue and expand cooperation in the energy sector between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia.
