The development of new connectivity projects and transport routes is set to create an entirely new environment in the South Caucasus, fostering trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia, President Ilham Aliyev said.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the head of state made these remarks during panel discussions titled "Open Corridor Policy? Deepening Trans-Caspian Cooperation" held as part of the Munich Security Conference. President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the positive impact of the current regional stability, noting that Azerbaijan has lived in peace for six months. "Believe me, this is a very good and special feeling, shared by the entire population of Azerbaijan. I am confident that the people of Armenia also feel the same way," the President stated.

The President underlined that the integration of regional transport networks, including the Middle Corridor, serves as a vital bridge between Europe and Asia. This strategic cooperation aims to transform the South Caucasus into a hub of stability and economic growth. By establishing a trilateral framework for communication and trade, Azerbaijan seeks to ensure long-term peace and prosperity in the region, leveraging its geographical position to enhance global logistics and energy security.
